Will you join us on our first group trip of the 2026/7 season? We're heading to Budapest for football, sightseeing and early festive entertainment!

We have lined up a brilliant 4-day visit to the beautiful Hungarian capital from Thursday, November 19 to Monday, November 23. We plan to take in at least 3 matches - possibly more - while allowing time to explore one of Europe's most popular cities.

The schedule will be set when fixture times are confirmed but could include:

  • Puskas Academy: one of Europe's most stunnning stadiums
  • Honved: home of Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas
  • Ujpest: Fairs Cup finalists against Newcastle
  • Ferencvaros: Hungary's biggest club

As an added bonus the Budapest Christmas Markets, rated as among the best in Europe, should be getting into full swing. Mulled wine anyone?

Return flights are available from all major London airports plus Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Please check out the itinerary and prices below. We expect demand to be high so it's first come, first served - register your interest now!

What's an FW trip like?

Interested in a Football Weekends trip but unsure what to expect?

It's a relaxed weekend, with the chance to watch football and visit a new destination in the company of fellow football supporters. Our parties are a mix of solo travellers, friends and couples - aged 18 to 80+ - and a warm welcome is always extended to first time visitors.

There is an itinerary but there is always some time built in to do your own thing. And we take the hassle out of organising tickets and travel!

Here's a few comments from guests on our Summer 2026 trip to the Baltic States:

'Great opportunity to attend games with like-minded people. Group very welcoming to newcomers and solo travellers, but space to do your own thing too.' - Nigel, Stockton-on-Tees

'A perfect mix of football, sight-seeing and friendship.' - Steve, Gainsborough

'As with all Football Weekend trips, there is an itinerary, but it is very flexible so you can adjust it to suit your preferences.' – Kieran, Sligo

'Once again, another legendary FW trip! Brilliantly organised as usual, the travelling was very smooth. If anyone is thinking of going on a future trip, stop thinking and book it!' - Simon, Nottingham

'Football Weekend trips are relaxed , great fun and have let me see parts of Europe I’d never have thought of..' - Cameron, Strathaven

'Jim organises each trip incredibly well, with a good balance between the football and general sightseeing. I would definitely recommend them..' - Jonathan, Nottingham
